PAL20:4You shall not make to yourselves image or figure, or any similitude of what is in the heavens above, or on the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth.
PAL20:5You shall not bow down to them, or worship before them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God and an avenger, punishing with vengeance, recording the guilt of wicked fathers upon rebellious children unto the third and unto the fourth generation of them who hate Me;;

People believe it refers to creative expressions in various medias. This is seriously wrong and lack of common sense. When you read the translations and original Hebrew script as a whole. It's literally talking about not doing the reprobate actions of other nations in the various events of Torah been Golden Calf(Exodus 32:4), Nebuchadnezzar's Golden Image(Daniel Ch.3), and other examples listed in Jewish Encyclopedia page on WORSHIP, IDOL.
To play conspiracy theory here, My money is on the fact this misinterpretation was done deliberately by invasive saboteurs to hide history/culture, deception(impersonating another nation), and overall what truly went down in the history of this world which is recorded by The Most High, Creator of All. Going to love it all when cloaks and disguises come off on the Great Judgement. (Alot of fake/wannabe "Humans")
It does not make sense to be forbidden from putting your natural born talents and skills to use to express yourselves. It's like debating you dare not use your legs to walk because some "god" would view it as a threat to its power, irregardless of the fact we are actually design to be able to walk In fact you look back at this paragraph from Jewish encyclopedia: wisdom
Practical intelligence; the mental grasp which observes and penetrates into the nature of things, and also the ability skilfully to perform difficult tasks. The former faculty is intuitive, the latter creative. Hence the word connotes both deep understanding and artistic skill. Wisdom is at once a human(ADaM) and a divine(QaDaSh) property.
I'm going to add this from etymonline.com: art.
So, if The Most High, Creator of All, gave you the gift to peer into other realms/worlds/timelines in the form of imaginations. Use that gift and make art! We are all giving distinct talents by The Most High. Unfortunately, we have envious,psychotic, narcissist, and sociopath individuals who desire to take our talents(by technology, sorcery, extortion, etc) and use for variable malicious objectives. ALWAYS BE VIGILANT AND ON GUARD!!! If they come after you...CRY OUT To The Most High for rescue from affliction of your enemies.
REMEMBER: ASK THE MOST HIGH, CREATOR OF ALL, for wisdom and discernment, always read laws, statues, and commandments as a whole and apply common sense.
